Pretend to be deaf

When you don't like what other people say about you, pretend to be deaf. When you know that what they are saying will not help you in anyway, pretend to be deaf. If you know that what people around you is saying will only ruin you, pretend to be deaf.

Listen only when you know that what they are saying can help you. Listen only when you know that what they are saying will turn you into a better person. Listen only when you know that they are speaking with sense.

If you listen to everything that people say about you, you'll lose your sanity. Different people will tell you different things. People will say a lot of things about you, most of the times contradicting opinion of you. If you think what they are saying is not true, then why bother with them? Don't mind the rumors, who cares what other people say about you? You know yourself better than them.

Remember that however they describe you doesn't matter, you know what is true from what is not. Their perception of you will only be validated if you act the way they expect you to act. IF they say you're a bitch and you start acting like one, then of course, you became what they expect you to be.

But the question is, are you what they say you are?If you know you are not, then pretend to be deaf. You're better off without listening to those people. You can live without them you know.

  1. intentional deafness is unforgivable. you know, even if the world says you're just a speck in the universe, stand firm and prove them that they're wrong.

you don't have to be deaf just to escape the reality that you cannot please everyone around you.

if you ask an inborn deaf, he will always say that he would love to hear even the most degrading criticism than to be deaf.

Remember, saying or sharing something is not just for the benefit of the listener, we should always lend an ear lo listen to know both sides of the topic, it will all depend on us on how are we going to handle it, yes, you may know who you are, but people may have different understanding.

they may say you're a bitch, but they won't say such things if they don't have any supporting evidences, what others say is just the representation of what they think, and what they think is because of something they have seen etc, we can't live without those who always criticize us, like the government won't run without the opposition, they will always serve as an equalizer, the eye who could always see, though not all they are saying can improve our personality, still they could mold us into a better and stronger person!

More power Tomo, we love you!

  4. Why is that Jetomo replies whenever she is praised and ignores it when criticized?

  5. Because I don't want to argue with someone. If you insist your criticism, I don't care. i respect your comments whether it is good or bad. It is my rights if I don't want to comment back or what.
